Israel Mobilizes Reserves Amid Gaza City Offensive

Israel has begun calling up at least 60,000 reservists and extending the service of another 20,000 as it intensifies operations in Gaza City, targeting the Zeitoun and Shijaiyah districts. Northern and central zones, including populated neighborhoods, are designated as "dangerous combat zones," with residential areas and aid sites bearing the brunt of the assault.

On one single day, at least 47 Palestinians were killed; a strike in the Tel al-Hawa neighborhood claimed 15 lives, including children. Meanwhile, famine and malnutrition ravage the population—185 Palestinians reportedly died from starvation in August alone. Domestically, resistance grows: the group “Soldiers for the Hostages” accuses Prime Minister Netanyahu of prolonging the war rather than securing the release of the remaining 48 hostages.
